290. Kambu dosai

Just for a change, I prepared dosa using mambu(bajra). The taste is really good.

Ingredients required :

kambu dosai

Kambu – 1 cup

Idly rice – 1 Tbs

Urud dal – 1/4 cup

Fenugreek seeds – 1 tsp

coconut(grated) – 2 tbs

Salt – 1/2 tsp

Cooking oil – 1 tsp

Method of preparation :

Soak kambu, idly rice, urud dal and fenugreek seeds for 4 to 5 hours. Grind it finely with salt and cocunut. Leave it for 5 to 6 hours for fermentation. Then, make dosa in the usual way with little oil. The soft and tasty kambu dosa is good for health. We have to take kambu often in some form, to beat the hot summer.
